1. Introduction

Welcome to Trekmount. By accessing our website, booking our services, or communicating with us via phone, WhatsApp, or any other platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before making any booking.

2. Booking & Payments

  • All bookings must be made through our website, WhatsApp, or official contact numbers.
  • A minimum advance payment is required to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the trip, as communicated during booking.
  • Payments can be made through approved payment methods shared by Trekmount.
  • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your booking without prior notice.

3. Pricing & Inclusions

  • All prices are quoted in INR and are subject to change without prior notice due to market conditions.
  • Package prices typically include accommodation, transport, meals (if specified), and guide services.
  • Any service not explicitly mentioned in the package inclusions will be treated as an exclusion.
  • Additional expenses arising during the trip (personal expenses, entry fees, etc.) must be borne by the traveler.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation requests must be made via email or WhatsApp.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation:
    • More than 15 days before departure: Partial refund after deductions
    • 7–15 days before departure: Limited refund
    • Less than 7 days: No refund
  • Any non-refundable bookings (hotel, transport, permits) will be deducted.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–10 business days.

5. Changes & Modifications

  • Trekmount reserves the right to modify itineraries due to operational reasons, weather conditions, or safety concerns.
  • Travelers may request changes, but they are subject to availability and additional charges.
  • Last-minute changes may not always be possible.

6. Travel Risks & Responsibilities

  • Adventure activities such as trekking involve inherent risks including injury, illness, or accidents.
  • Weather conditions in destinations like mountains may be unpredictable and can cause delays or itinerary changes.
  • Travelers are responsible for their physical fitness and must follow safety instructions provided by guides.
  • Trekmount is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage during the trip.

7. Travel Documents & Compliance

  • Travelers must carry valid ID proof and any required permits during the journey.
  • It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Any penalties due to non-compliance will be borne by the traveler.

8. Third-Party Services

  • Trekmount may use third-party service providers such as hotels, transport operators, and guides.
  • While we strive to work with reliable partners, we are not liable for their actions, delays, or service deficiencies.

9. Force Majeure

Trekmount shall not be held responsible for any delay, change, or cancellation caused due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (landslides, floods, earthquakes)
  • Weather conditions
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes, roadblocks, or pandemics

In such cases, no refund or compensation shall be provided, although we will try our best to offer alternative solutions.

10. Liability Limitation

  • Trekmount acts as a travel organizer and facilitator.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

11. User Conduct

  • Travelers are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow travelers, guides, and locals.
  • Any misconduct, illegal activity, or behavior causing inconvenience may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

12. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website including text, images, and branding is the property of Trekmount.
  • Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
