The Hampta Pass Trek is one of the most dramatic crossover treks in India. In just a few days, you witness a complete transformation of landscapes—from lush green valleys of Kullu to the cold desert of Spiti.
What makes this trek truly special is its variety. One day you walk through forests and waterfalls, and the next day you’re surrounded by barren mountains and snowfields. And just when you think it can’t get better, the trek rewards you with the magical Chandratal Lake.
This journey starts from Manali and takes you through iconic camps like Chika, Balu Ka Ghera, and Shea Goru before crossing the Hampta Pass at ~14,100 ft.
